Privacy policy
How I look after the information you share with me, in plain English.
Who I am
Camila Carmen Interiors is run by me, Camila Fernandez, an interior designer based in East London. I'm responsible for the personal information you share through this website and while we work together. If you have any questions about it, email me at camila@camilacarmeninteriors.com.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry, I collect what you choose to tell me: your name, email, phone number, postcode or town, details about your home and plans, your rough budget and timings, and any links you share.
If we go on to work together, I'll also hold your address, measurements, drawings and photos of your home, our correspondence, and invoice and payment records.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, design your home and run the project, and to keep the business records I'm legally required to keep. I'll only send you anything else, such as news or updates, if you've asked to receive it.
I never sell your information or pass it on for anyone else's marketing.
Photos of your home
I'll only share photos of your finished home on my website or Instagram with your permission. I never publish your address, and you can ask me to take a photo down at any time.
Who else sees it
Only the people who help me deliver your project, and only what they need:
- the team member who carries out your measured survey and drawings
- joiners, trades and suppliers working on your project, with your knowledge
- my accountant, for my business records
- the companies that provide my email, file storage, website and enquiry form
How long I keep it
If an enquiry doesn't go ahead, I delete your details after 12 months. If we work together, I keep project and financial records for six years after the project ends, as required for tax purposes.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies or track your visits. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to display them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or ask me to stop using it. Just email me and I'll respond within a month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though I'd be grateful for the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
